My name is Niobe
I am 13-years-young and I’m in 8th grade. I was born in Asheville, NC but I grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia so I’m basically from Georgia.Growing up in Georgia has made me who I am today.I had many friends and I wasn’t so shy. I also love to sing and my hobbies are writing music, singing, drawing, and writing poetry. Singing has always been a huge part of my life it makes me feel relaxed and it’s a better way for me to connect to my emotions.
Working at Word on the Street was basically the best thing that has ever happened to me because I can be myself without having anyone make fun of me or tease me.What I want to change in my community is racism because we should all be treated equally and with respect instead of having all of the racist comments thrown against African Americans,Hispanics, and many more.
