We Are The Squad

Hello, welcome to Word On The Street/La Voz de Los Jovenes! WOTS is a magazine by teens for teens. It is run by a group of youth from Asheville who want to see their community come together. We had a great year last year, pulling in tons of submissions and bringing said community together at events run by WOTS. This year we are hoping to top that with more submissions and even better events.

Our Vision

Communities and cultures empowered by a diverse team of youth using their voice, talents and imagination to make a difference within the community.

Our Mission

Word on the Street is dedicated to creating a community and culture driven youth online magazine to give the youth a voice.
